Boaz Yakin is an American screenwriter and film director. He started his career as a screenwriter and his first project was, The Punisher (1989). After a few years he made his directorial debut with the movie Fresh (1994). A few of his other directorial outings include Remember the Titans (2000), Uptown Girls (2003) and Safe (2012). His upcoming film, Max is slated to release in 2015.
