About
Son of popular director and producer Anup Sengupta and actress Piya Sengupta, Bonny Sengupta made his foray into the movie business as an actor with the 2014 movie Borbaad, which is the Bengali remake of the 2007 Tamil action thriller Polladhavan. Playing the role of Shibu, Bonny was cast alongside Koushani Mukherjee in the Bengali remake of the Telugu film Uyyala Jampala titled Parbona Ami Chartey Tokey in 2015. In 2017, Bonny was seen playing the lead role in two Bengali movies - the romance Tomake Chai, and Jio Pagla. His 2018 credits include Raja Rani Raji and Girlfriend. His 2019 releases include Ke Tumi Nandini, Bhootchakro Private Limited, Jaanbaaz and Love Story.
