Bose Venkat is an Indian film actor who appears in Tamil films and television serials. He is known for his roles as Kalanjiam in Eera Nilam (2003), Madan in Kannamma (2005), Sakkara Pandi in Nagaram (2010), Kaaliappa in Tenaliraman (2014), and appeared as a police officer in 36 Vayadhinile (2015). He played the role of sub-inspector Ravi in the Suriya starrer action masala Singam in 2010, followed by that of a naxalite leader in the political thriller Ko in 2011, both of which were blockbusters. He was seen as Inspector Velraj in the 2015 Tamil thriller Vai Raja Vai, directed by Aishwarya R. Dhanush, and also had a small role in the superstar Rajinikanth starrer Sivaji in 2007. After playing the role of an assistant train driver in Thodari (2016), starring Dhanush and Keerthy Suresh, he went on to feature in director K. V. Anand`s Kavan (2017), as a powerful yet corrupt politician. His other 2016 movies include Aarathu Sinam and Rangam 2. He has also worked as a dubbing artist for Atul Kulkarni in Veeram and Ashish Vidyarthi in Yennai Arindhaal.
His 2017 venture includes the action thriller Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, starring Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. Based on true events, the movie is directed by Vinoth, with Karthi in the role of a cop and Abhimanyu Singh as the antagonist. His 2020 releases include Thakkol Pazhuthu and Kanni Madam.
