About
Lead singer of the Grammy Award-winning pop band Culture Club, Boy George was initially a part of the English new wave band Bow Wow Wow, where he went by the stage name Lieutenant Lush. However, after he has a fallout with the band's lead singer Annabella Lwin, George went on to start his own band with Roy Hay, Mikey Craig, and Jon Moss in 1981, calling it Culture Club referring to the different ethnic backgrounds its members belonged to.

The singer and songwriter has released nine studio albums, five compilation albums, forty-seven singles, seven DJ albums, and three EPs and one soundtrack album in his career, and is known for the songs 'Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?', 'Time', and 'I'll Tumble 4 Ya' among many other chartbuster hits.
