A popular American model and actress, Bridget started her career as a model before eventually doing TV commercials and later becoming an actress. Since Moynahan had no prior experience in acting, she took acting lessons before making her acting debut with the film Row Your Boat, a crime drama film in 1999. She made her debut on the TV screen with a guest appearance in the popular comedy series, Sex and the City, where she later had a recurring role as Natasha. Some of her most notable films include Coyote Ugly (2000), Serendipity (2001), The Recruit (2003), and Lord of War (2005).
Born in Binghamton, New York, Bridget Moynahan is the daughter of Edward Bradley Moynahan, a former administrator at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Mary Bridget who worked as a school teacher. When she was seven years old, the actress along with her two brothers, Sean and Andy moved to Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Moynahan went to Longmeadow High School and she completed her high school graduation in 1989. While in school, the actress took great interest in sports and she was the captain of the school lacrosse, basketball and soccer teams.
Moynahan dated the Hollywood screenwriter, Scott Rosenberg for three years and after the relationship ended, she started seeing the NFL quarterback Tom Brady in December 2004. In 2006, her representative told People magazine that Moynahan and Brady have amicably ended their relationship. Later, in February 2007, Moynahan confirmed that she is pregnant with Brady’s child and in August 2007, she gave birth to her son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan. After being single since the birth of her child for about eight years, Moynahan married Andrew Frankel, a businessman in a private ceremony at the Hamptons.
The actress made her debut on the big screen with a small role in the crime drama film Row Your Boat in 1999 and subsequently featured in films like In the Weeds (2000) and Trifling with Fate (2000) where she played minor roles. After failing to make a mark, Moynahan finally got some recognition as she starred in the American romantic musical comedy Coyote Ugly directed by David McNally. Although the film received mostly negative reviews, it performed well at the box office; it grossed more than 113 million USD.
The actress continued her good run with another stellar performance in the 2001 American romantic comedy Serendipity starring John Cusack
