Brinda Acharya was born on 18 September in Balkur, Uttara Kannada, Karnataka. She completed her schooling at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College, Ujire, and earned a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from KLE Society's Lingaraj College, Belagavi. Before entering the film industry, Brinda built a strong professional foundation in technology. She began her career as a Senior Software Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services (Mumbai) and later worked as an IT Analyst at Infosys (Bangalore).

Her transition into entertainment began in 2018 with the Kannada serial Mahakali, followed by television series Shani, aired on Colors Kannada, where she portrayed Damini, the wife of Shani. These early television roles marked her first steps into acting, laying the groundwork for her eventual move into Kannada cinema.
