Screenwriter, dialogue writer and filmmaker Brinda Sarathy is known primarily for his association with Kollywood director N. Lingusamy, with whom he has worked in several movies. He started out by penning for the family drama Aanandham (2001), and has since worked in hits like Paiyaa (2010), Vettai (2012) and Anjaan (2014) as a dialogue writer.
In 2018, Sarathy reunited with frequent collaborator Lingusamy for the action drama Sandakozhi 2, which starred Vishal Krishna Reddy and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles.
