Perhaps best known for her role as Marissa Chandler on ABC Networks All My Children (1970-2011), Brittany Allen is a Canadian actresses, writer, producer and director. After making her debut on screen with the TV movie, What Katy Did (1999), Allen went on to star in the TV series I Love Mummy (2002-2003). Allen has had recurring roles in TV shows like Bomb Girls (2012-2014), Defiance (2013-2015), and Falling Water (2016). In 2011 Allen won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress for her role in the long running TV series All My Children. She made her big screen debut in 2012 with the horror-comedy Dead Before Dawn 3D. Since then her acting credits include movies like Extraterrestrial (2014), Look Again (2015), It Stains the Sands Red (2016), and Incontrol (2017). Apart from acting Allen came up with the story of the 2015 comedy-drama, Almost Anything. She also wrote and directed the short film, Valentines Day (2014).

In 2017 Allen starred as Carly in director-duo Michael and Peter Spierig's, horror-mystery, Jigsaw. The movie is the eighth installment in the Saw franchise. The cast also includes Tobin Bell, Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Laura Vandervoort, Cle Bennett, and Hannah Emily Anderson.
