Known for producing Oscar-winning movies such as American Beauty (1999), Milk (2008), and Silver Linings Playbook (2012), Bruce Cohen is an American producer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and graduated from the Yale University in 1983. Following which, he took up a clerical job, as a trainee, with the Directors Guild of America and worked on Steven Spielberg's The Color Purple. Subsequently, he served as a first assistant director and associate producer on the movie Hook, another Spielberg movie.
Few of his other credits include movies such as The Flintstones (1994), The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000), The Forgotten (2004), Bleed for This (2016), and Rebel in the Rye (2017).
