Burl Ives was an American actor, writer and folk singer. His work includes comedy shows, dramas and voice work in theatre, television and motion pictures. He has recorded more than 100 albums during his lifetime. His hits include Frosty the Snowman, The Blue Tail Fly. His TV shows are The Bermuda Depths, O.K. Crackerby. His movies are White Dog, Two Moon Junction . He died due to oral cancer, in the summer of 1994.
