Actor BV Bhaskar is well-known for predominantly working in the Kannada industry. Starting his career in 2006 with Kannada theatre, he became proficient in English, Hindi, Urdu so he could justify his roles in the plays. His theatre career consisted of over a dozen plays before he decided to shift to films and debuted in Veeraparampare (2010).

His other notable works include Munjanne (2012), Ondu Kshanadalli (2012), Anne Pataki (2013), and Kempirve (2017). Apart from this, he has also featured in Bollywood films like M S Dhoni- The Untold Story (2016) and Naam Shabana (2017).
