C Ashwath was an Indian music director, worked mainly in the Kannada Film Industry. He was also known for singing. He had associated with nearly 75 films including Anuroopa, Narada Vijaya, Kanchana Mruga, Shanka Naada, Mysore Mallige, Chinnari Mutha and many more. He died in December 2009. He is associated with the 2018 Tamil action-thriller Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam directed by Sudhar.
