Entering the industry in 1993 with Vaddu Bava Thappu, C. Kalyan is a film producer who works mainly in the Telugu film industry. He produced movies like Mee Aayana Jagratha (2000), Swamy (2004), Chandamama (2007), Aatadista (2008), Khaleja (2010), Parama Veera Chakra (2011) and Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu (2012). In 2015 C. Kalyan established CK Entertainments. Under the new banner the first movie to release was Jyothi Lakshmi (2015), which was directed by Puri Jagannadh. The same year Kalyan also produced Puri Jagannadh's action-drama, Loafer. In 2018 Kalyan produced director KS Ravikumar's action-drama, Jai Simha. The cast has Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nayanthara and Haripriya in pivotal roles.
