Cab Calloway was a jazz singer and a bandleader who appeared in many stage films. He became a star with his performances at the Cotton Club and his song "Minnie the Moocher" in the year 1931. He worked for more than 63 films in his career as a singer for both movies and television series. He has also achieved Silver Medallion Award in the year 1988.
