Capt. Dharamveer is a live testimony for the phrase An Army is the best school to learn the basics of life. Hailing from a humble background from the Hindi medium school of Gorakhpur, and Allahabad, this dare-devil boy decided to move to JNU for Japanese (Hons.) degree. Instead of pursuing some other profession, Capt. Dharamveer chose Army. He thoroughly enjoyed his tough training days at the Academy. He believes his existence today was the result of five years of serving the nation in the Operations of the valley to various war-games in peace locations. Also, the tough Weather conditions prepared him mentally and Survival took precedence over war. After his Short Service Commission experience, he enrolled with NMIMS for post-graduation course and then enjoyed Corporate life at various levels Upper Middle Management to Leadership roles for 8-9 years. Thereafter, he took the plunge of being an Entrepreneur and runs a company Apache, which runs into IFM and HSE. In between the Army life and Corporate life, his life was no less an adventure. He participated in many television shows and won many accolades too. He was a First Runner Up at Fear factor (Khatron ke Khiladi) hosted by Akshay Kumar on Colors Channel and a Finalist at Total Wipe-Out (Zor ka Jhatka) hosted by Shahrukh Khan on National TV. He is credited for hosting the D3 Commando Force Show based on the 26/11 attack and transform civilian youth into Army commando through rigorous training. Also, he was invited as a Guest Judge for Survivor India show. A man who smilingly donned different hats does not believe in self-growth, he dreamt for the development of youth. To realize his dream, he joins various forums as a motivational speaker and had graced TedxNMIMS earlier. His mantra for life is Be Ready always, life can throw an opportunity anytime towards you.
