Carl Betz was an American stage, film and television actor, best known for his role as Dr. Alex Stone, in the ABC sitcom, “The Donna Reed Show”. After completed his high school, he joined the military service. He made his Broadway debut in 1952’s “The Long Watch”. His various acting credits include In Search of America, Killdozer and TV series such as Judd for the Defense, Police Story and The New Perry Mason. He won the Golden Globe Award in Best TV Star – Male category for “Judd for the Defense” in 1969.
