Early Life: Caterina was born and raised in Toronto. She is the middle child in a family of five siblings. She got her first taste of acting in the family home, where her older sister would play the part of a director while the rest of her siblings were cast as actors. Caterina has been a professional actress since the age of eight when she was a regular on the daytime children`s program Mr. Dressup.

Career Highlights: Caterina`s movies include Common Ground (1990), Power Play (1998),The Devil`s Arithmetic (1999), The Third Miracle (1999), Rated X (2000) and My Horrible Year! (2001). She enjoyed immense success as a young actor and then starred in the Oscar winning coming-of-age film, Strike (2002). While filming three successful seasons on the series Missing (2003-2006) Caterina completed her Bachelor`s Degree at the University of Toronto and then moved to Los Angeles. Other prominent shows she appeared on include Crash (2008) and Alice (2009). Following the success of these shows, Caterina was cast in the film The Edge Of Darkness(2009), opposite Mel Gibson. She also featured as a series regular on the show Private Practice (2010-2013). Her next television role was on Grey`s Anatomy. Caterina will soon be seen in The November Man, releasing in August 2014.
