Cathryn Michon is an American filmmaker, stand-up comic, actor, and writer who has written for the TV shows Designing Women (1986), China Beach (1988), Sisters (1991), Diagnosis Murder (1993), and South Park (1997). In 2007, she co-wrote, co-produced, and starred in the movie Cook Off. In 2017, she wrote the screenplay of the movie A Dog`s Purpose, directed by Lasse Hallstrom. Her 2019 release includes A Dogs Journey, directed by Gail Mancuso.
