Celia Imrie is an English actress. Her debut film was Assassin (1973). Celia starred in House of Whipcord (1974), Death On The Nile (1978), The Wicked Lady (1983) and Highlander (1986). Later on, she worked in Frankenstein (1994), A Midwinters Tale (1995), The Borrowers (1997) and Hilary and Jackie (1998). Some of her notable works are Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace (1999), The Bridget Jones Diary (2001), Calender Girls (2003) and The Bridget Jones Diary: The Edge of Reason (2004). Celia was critically acclaimed for her roles in Nanny McPhee (2005), St. Trinians (2007) and St. Trinians: The Legend of Frittons Gold (2009). She worked in You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger (2010). Her 2016 project includes Bridget Jones's Baby, starring Renne Zellweger, Colin Firth and Patrick Dempsey in lead roles.
