Ch Sai completed his graduation in B.Sc Visual Communication. He began his career as an independent cinematographer, operative cameraman, and creative producer. Cinematography, for him, is a body of work that reflects innovation and challenge. He has worked on films ranging from mega-budget period epics and gigantic sci-fi magnum opuses to smaller, hard-hitting, path-breaking films that set new benchmarks in raw and realistic visual storytelling techniques.

He later joined Director of Photography R. Rathnavelu as an assistant, working with him on TV commercials and films.
