Chaitanya Prasad is an Indian lyricist and writer, who works mainly in the Telugu film industry. He made his debut as a lyricist with the 2002 movie Allari Ramudu. His prominent works as a lyricist include Kushi Kushiga (2004), Gunde Jhallumandi (2008), Prasthanam (2010), Maryada Ramanna (2010), Andari Bandhuvaya (2010), Thakita Thakita (2010), Broker (2010), Rajanna (2011), Eega (2012), Baahubali - The Beginning (2015), Vangaveeti (2016) and Bahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017). Chaitanya also made his debut as a writer with the 2016 movie, Vangaveeti. In 2017 he worked on director Rom Bhimana`s Aakatayi. The movie`s success prompted a dubbed release in Tamil named Asathuranda (2017). His 2019 release includes Tholubommalata.
