Marathi film and theatre director, Chandrakant Kulkarni has directed a number of plays. He has directed movies like Bindhaast and Tukaram, and went on to win the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi for the film Aajcha Divas Majha in 2013. In 2016, he directed the movie Family Katta, co-starring Vandana Gupte, Sai Tamhankar, and Kiran Karmarkar.
