Charles Crichton (Charles) a.k.a Charles Ainslie Crichton was an English film director and editor, born on August 06, 1910 in Wallasey, Cheshire, England (United Kingdom). He was married to Vera Harman-Mills in 1936 and together they had two sons, David and Nicholas. In 1962, he also married to his second wife, Nadine Haze. Charles began his career in the film industry as a film editor of Men of Tomorrow followed by Things to Come, Cash, The Girl from Maxim's etc. Crichton made his directorial debut with For Those in Peril followed by Painted Boats, Hue and Cry, Against the Wind etc. Charles made his television debut as an editor with the series Danger Man, Man in a Suitcase, The Avengers etc. He died on September 14, 1999 in South Kensington, London, England, United Kingdom.
