Charles is a French film producer, known for producing more than a hundred award-winning short films, documentaries, and art videos. He is the co-founder of production companies called NADA and Kieslowski. Some of his best works are Mes quatre dernieres volontes (1998), Les Deux pulls (1999), Troublemakers: Express Way (2004), and Porte-bonheur (2005).

Internationally, Gilibert produced many feature films like 24 Bars (2007), Summer Hours (2008), Certified Copy (2010), Like Someone in Love (2012), and Mustang (2015). His other ventures include Personal Shopper (2016), The Royal Exchange (2017) and The Full House (2018).
