Popular storyboard artist, animator, director, and producer Charlie Bean is known for his work on animated TV shows. He began his career in the early 1990's and worked as a storyboard artist for several popular cartoons including The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, I Am Weasel and Samurai Jack. He has also co-created two pilots for Cartoon Network viz. Buy One, Get One Free and IMP. Inc..

In 2002, Bean served as the writer and storyboard artist for The Powerpuff Girls Movie. In 2017, he directed the animated movie The Lego Ninjago Movie.
