Charlie Chaplin was a British comic actor, filmmaker and composer. He became famous through silent - films era. He directed films such as City Lights and Modern Times. He made his debut in acting as a pageboy in a production of Sherlock Holmes. Chaplin acted in 35 films which includes Punctured Romance, Easy Street, The Vagabond, The Rink. Chaplin died at home after suffering a stroke in his sleep at the age of 88.
