A career spanning over 20 years, Chinmay P. Purohit is an Indian television and film director, working in Gujarati and Hindi entertainment industry. Known for working as a director, writer, creative director, creative producer and producer in the television industry, some popular television projects are Chacha Chaudhary (2001 - 2002), Kasauti Zindagi Key (2002 - 2003), Shakalaka Boom Boom (2003 - 2004). He is also associated with films like Kya Kahena (2000), Hum Toh Mohhabbat Karega (2000) and Desert Tears (2016).

Purohiit is also the owner of Goosebumps Studios, Gujarati film Oxygen (2018) being the first production. The film also marked his debut as a writer and director in the Gujarati film industry.
