Entering the film industry in 2007 with the Telugu movie Evadithe Nakenti, Chinna is an Indian music director, who works in the South Indian film industry. Since making his debut Chinna has composed music for movies like Satyameva Jayathe (2009), Fitting Master (2009), Seeta Ramula Kalyanam (2010), Collector Gari Bharya (2010), Soodhu Kavvum (2013), Theater Lo Naluguru (2013), Kalavu (2013), Billa Ranga (2014), Maine Pyar Kiya (2014), Ramleela (2015), Tiger Galli (2017) and 143 (2017).

In 2018 Chinna served as the music director on Dhwaja. The movie is directed by veteran cinematographer Ashok Cashyap, who is making his directorial debut with the movie.
