Welsh comedian, actor, filmmaker and writer Chris Addison is primarily known for his roles in tv shows like The Thick of It (2005-`12), Skins (2007-`13) and Doctor Who (8th Season, 2014). In addition to this, his work as a director in over a dozen episodes of the political satire comedy series Veep (2012-`19) earned Addison a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Direction in 2016.

The comedy In the Loop (2009) and the biographical comedy The Look of Love (2013) are among Addison`s notable film credits as an actor; while the 2019 comedy The Hustle, starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson, marked his feature film directorial debut.
