Popularly known for his work on the late-night talk show Saturday Night Live (SNL), Chris Parnell is an American actor, comedian, singer, and voice artist. It was in 1998 that Parnell was hired to be a part of Saturday Night Live, prior to which he worked with The Groundings, an improvisational and sketch comedy troupe. Parnell's association with Saturday Night Live lasted for seven years until 2006. During his stint with SNL, Parnell became popular for several of his sketches and impressions of various celebrities. He has also guest appeared on NBC's 30 Rock, essaying the character of Dr. Leo Spaceman. Some of his movie credits include National Lampoon's Barely Legal (2003), Labor Pains (2009), 21 Jump Street (2012), Break Point (2014), and Sisters (2015). He has also voiced the character of Fly in the animated movie Hotel Transylvania (2012) and its sequel Hotel Transylvania 2 (2012). His 2017 releases include the movies Austin Found and Battle of the Sexes. His 2018 release includes Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, directed by Ari Sandel.
