Chris Sanders is an American animation director and illustrator best known for co-writing and co-directing the Disney animated feature film Lilo & Stitch (2002). After leaving Walt Disney Animation Studios, Sanders went on to work for DreamWorks Animation, co-writing and co-directing the critically acclaimed animated feature film How to Train Your Dragon (2010). His other notable projects include The Croods (2013) and How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014). His 2020 projects include The Croods: A New Age and The Call Of The Wild.
