Chris Terrio is an Academy Award winning American screenwriter and filmmaker. He made his debut as a writer-director with the 2005 film Heights, and rose to prominence when he won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for his work in the historical drama film Argo (2012). Other notable movie credits as a screenwriter include Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017), the latter of which also features him as an executive producer. His 2019 he was the writer for yet another pop culture icon, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. His 2021 release includes Zack Snyder`s Justice League.
