Christopher Gunning is a British composer born on August 5, 1944, in Cheltenham, England. He is known for his background music in films, television, and concerts. The composer's television works include La Vie en Rose, Middlemarch and Rebecca. Gunning has created music for films like Goodbye Gemini, Hands of the Ripper and Grace of Monaco. He has received numerous awards and nominations for his musical credits, out of which he has won the BAFTA and Ivor Novello award.
