Hailing from South Korea, Chung Chung-Hoon is a cinematographer who has more than 36 feature film credits to his name. While he was getting his degree in theatre, Chung-Hoon decided to focus on cinematography and worked on a few short films to learn the art. In his senior year itself, he made his debut as a cinematographer through a feature film called Yuri (1996). His best known works include
Me And Earl And The Dying Girl (2015) and
It (2017). He often works with the South Korean director Park Chan-Wook. His 2019 releases include
The Current War.
