Claire Mathon is a cinematographer who predominantly works in the French film industry. She made her debut in the industry in 2000, starting out with work on several short films and documentaries. She then went on to work on feature films like Stranger by the Lake (2013), My King (2015), Two Friends (2015) and Staying Vertical (2016). She is best known for her work in Atlantics (2019) and Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019), winning awards for cinematography for both movies.
