Clinton Darryl Mansell, better known by his stage name Clint Mansell is an English composer and musician and singer. A former member of the yesteryear band Pop Will Eat Itself was introduced to composing for film scoring after the band was disintegrated in 1996. Mansell made his debut for composing music for the film when director Darren Aronofsky hired him for Pi in 1998. Since his debut, Mansell has composed for several popular films include Requiem for a Dream (2000), Abandon (2002), Suspect Zero (2004), Smokin` Aces (2006), The Wrestler (2008), Black Swan (2010), Noah (2014), and Ghost in the Shell (2017).
