Academy Award winning editor Conrad Buff is a well-known man in Hollywood and began his career as a visual effects editor in films like The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Ghostbusters (1984). He also acted as an associate editor for Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983), before grabbing his stint as a co-editor on Jagged Edge (1985), where he worked in collaboration with editor Sean Barton.

Particularly noted for his work on four James Cameron films, namely The Abyss (1989), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), True Lies (1994), and Titanic (1997), for which he also won an Academy Award as well as an ACE Eddie Award. Through the course of his career, Buff has been an integral part of popular films like Training Day (2001), Shooter (2007), Terminator Salvation (2009), The Last Airbender (2010), Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016), Monster Trucks (2016), and American Assassin (2017), among others. His 2018 project includes The Equalizer 2.
