Craig Charles is an English actor, comedian, author and poet who is famous for his acting role, Dave Lister in 1988 TV series Red Dwarf. He first appeared on television as the poet later, made his acting debut in television series Lift Off in 1984. Charles has presented children's television programs and also provided the English voice-over commentary for the game show Takeshi's Castle. Charles his known for his roles in Coronation Street, Doctors and Captain Butler.
