Daivata Chavan-Patil, a TEDx speaker and accomplished media educator, brings over two decades of expertise in communication, storytelling, and socially conscious media. She has produced two notable Marathi feature films - Barayan (2018) and Asha (2025). Her debut film shed light on the overwhelming social pressures students face within the education system and her second film highlights women's empowerment and the reproductive rights of women, received four awards at the 61st Maharashtra State Film Awards, reinforcing her commitment to cinema with a social purpose.

Her work has received international recognition. She actively collaborates with national and global organisations, contributing to policy-level initiatives in this domain.

As an internationally published researcher, she has contributed to scholarship in Visual Media, Language Studies, Digital Media, and Gender Studies, continuing to shape critical dialogues at the intersection of media and social change.
