Dan Futterman is an American actor and screenwriter. He is best known for writing the screenplay for Capote (2005), a biographical movie for which he received an Academy Award nomination. His other project includes A Mighty Heart (2007), Hello I Must Be Going (2012), Foxcatcher (2014) and Kill the Messenger (2015).
