A Los Angeles-based music composer, Dan Marocco is noted for his work in American TV and film industry. The son of a music teacher, Marocco had a keen interest in music from a very early age and he started playing the piano, trumpet, and guitar. An alumnus of the prestigious New York University, Marocco, over the year has come to be known as a music director who creates a unique sound for each project.

Having started his career as a professional music composer, he initially composed for a few short films, before eventually getting his big break with Say Yes to the Dress (2007), a TV series where he composed for about 10 episodes. He subsequently composed for series' like NTSF:SD:SUV (2011-13), Pillow Talk (2017) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013-2017). His other notable film credits include Demonic (2015), horror thriller directed by Will Canon.
