Nominated for the Academy Award for There Will Be Blood (2007) at the 80th Academy Awards, Daniel Lupi is a Hollywood film producer and production manager. His wife, JoAnne Sellar is also a producer and they have a long working relationship with director Paul Thomas Anderson. They have produced almost his entire filmography, except Hard Eight (1996). Lupi began his career as a producer with Dust Devil in 1992. Since then he has produced movies like Dust Devil (1992), Boogie Nights (1997), Scream 2 (1997), Magnolia (1999), Punch-Drunk Love (2002), Catch Me If You Can (2002), 50 First Dates (2004), There Will Be Blood (2007), The Master (2012), Lincoln (2012), Her (2013), Inherent Vice (2014) and Bridge of Spies (2015). In 2017 Lupi produced Anderson's Phantom Thread. The movie has been nominated for eight Oscars, one of which is for Lupi in the Best Motion Picture of the Year category. Lupi has also served as an executive producer on Steven Spielberg's action adventure, Ready Player One (2018).
