After that, He worked for over hundred television series. His career major break came with the film A Raisin in the Sun in 1961. He honored with several prestigious awards such as Primetime Emmy, DGA Award and Gary Cooper Award. He died at the age of 83, on August 22, 2004 in Los Angeles.
