Darren McGavin born as William Lyle Richardson was an American actor popular. He started his career as a painter and later in 1945 he made his debut in film industry with A Song to Remember movie. He had worked in more than 200 films and series. Some of his famous movies are Queen for a Day, Bullet for a Badman, Captain America. He was known for his work in TV series like Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Riverboat and Murphy Brown. In 1990, he won Emmy Award for Murphy Brown series and in 1991 he won CableACE Award for Clara movie.
