Best known for writing the miniseries Watchmen and the Superman story 'For the Man Who Has Everything,' Dave Gibbons is an English comics artist and writer. Gibbons who is noted for his frequent collaboration with writer Alan Moore initially started publishing his writing works in Underground Comics and some of his earlier notable works include The Trials of Nasty Tales. He subsequently ventured into British comics industry by working on the horror and action titles for the DC Thompson and IPC. Gibbons got his first big break when his talents were noticed by Len Wein who hired him to draw the Green Lantern Corps, which marked Gibbons' first associated ion with the DC franchise. Apart from being a successful writer and comic artist, Gibbons has also written for feature films and his 2017 release includes Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017), an action spy comedy directed by Matthew Vaughn.
