Dave S. F. Wilson is a film director and the creative director at Blur Studios but is best known for his visual effects work on video games commercials, including trailers for the games Halo Wars (2009) and The Division (2016). Wilson started his journey in the film industry in 2003 and has garnered over 16 credits in the visual effects department. In 2019 he directed an episode of the show Love, Death & Robots and later came across the script of Bloodshot, a film based on the Valiant Comics. Being a fan of the comics himself and having an interest in science fiction, prompted Wilson to take on his first-ever directorial project. Bloodshot stars Vin Diesel in the titular role and is a 2020 release.
