David Annen is a European stage, television and film actor. He is best known for portraying Polish production designer Peter Brachacki (who was the first production designer for Doctor Who) in the acclaimed biographical television film An Adventure in Space and Time (2013). A seasoned theatre artist and an alumnus of the Gardzienice Centre for Theatre Practices in Poland, he has appeared in plays like Richard III, Measure For Measure, The Master and Margarita and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in the course of his career. Notable feature film credits include The West Wittering Affair (2006), Absolutely Anything (2015) and the 2017 action thriller The Foreigner. Other significant television credits include EastEnders, Maigret Sets a Trap and Genius.
