About
Best known for his comedy films Pineapple Express and The Sitter, David Gordon Green is an American filmmaker. He made his directorial debut with a drama film titled George Washington (2000). The film opened to critical acclaim but couldn`t reach a larger section of audience due to its limited release. His next two films `All the Real Girls` and `Undertow` had the same fate. The success came to him when he switched to directing comedy films. The 2008 Pineapple Express was a huge game changer as it went on to earn more than thrice than its budget. He also directed a few episodes of popular HBO television series like Eastbound & Down and Vice Principals.
