Starting off in 1999 as a production supervisor with director Joel Schumacher's 8MM, David J. Grant is an American production supervisor and producer. He served as production supervisor on movies like Big Daddy (1999), Charlie's Angels (2000), Spider-Man 2 (2004), Guess Who (2005), Spider-Man 3 (2007) and Iron Man (2008). In 2011 Grant went on to become associate producer on the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie, Thor. He served as a producer on most of the MCU movies since then. His credentials as a producer include Thor: The Dark World (2013), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Ant-Man (2015), Doctor Strange (2016), and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 (2017). In 2018 Grant served as the producer on Ryan Coogler's Black Panther. Chadwick Boseman plays T'Challa a.k.a. Black Panther in the 18th movie of the MCU. The rest of the cast includes Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, and Andy Serkis in pivotal roles.
