An American actor, David Lee Smith is best known for playing the role of John Oldman in the 2007 sci-fi film, The man from Earth. Having completed his graduation from the University of Alabama, Smith made his debut on the TV with Savannah (1996-97), an American prime time soap opera, which was produced by Aaron Spelling. Some of his other notable credits include Fight Club (1999), A Walk to Remember (2002), Zodiac (2007), Man from Earth (2007) and Janie Jones (2010).
